I don't think so.  They probably went to the crusher still inside the SC.

I'm busy from about 2 to 5pm Saturday, other than that fairly open.  Just let me know when.

I'll bring the throttle cable, and triangle wheels if the car won't be street driven for now (two of the race tires are corded, the other two are low enough not to be street legal anymore).  We should clean up the crapbling wheels before taking pictures for eBay.  I think I'm out of wheel cleaner.

Also will need an address. :)

Those Mango Corollas are awesomesauce.

You know what else is smog exempt and old school cool?  Not quite as light though, I suspect...

Interesting front end on that maroon #60.  Wonder what it is?  Looks moulded in, hard to tell from the pic.

Also notice the license plate.  Street driven?

I has throttle cable.  From '87 MR2 4AGE.  The rubber grommet at the end is mangled up but I assume that's no big deal...

I believe this is the best solution aerodynamically.  The others are just varying vent designs to let out hot air.

I agree the only scoop that looks good is that last one.  I think these are just for a "ram air" effect for the intake, which should be sealed and separated from the upward engine bay airflow to be effective.

I wonder how the guys with that central chimney open their engine lids... reverse hinge conversion??

Wouldn't we have to have a flat floor for a diffuser to do any good?

This isn't the one I was thinking of, but it might even be better.

Also check out the MR2OC thread linked in the above page.

And while I was looking around I saw some very interesting things. :)

Brakes / Re: Brakes

You know what would be awesome (but overbudget)?  Adapting the Spyder ABS system to the MK1.  That thing has incredible brakes.  And is already 4x100...

Now the Spyder, that car is an Elise waiting to happen.  They're only 2195lbs stock. :)

They keep on getting cheaper.  This one has the sport suspension too. :)

That's not much more than I could sell my S2k for...

I haven't heard of it.  What Supra has a 4x100 bolt pattern?  The MK3?  MKII is 4x114.3, MKIV should be 5x114.3.

If you see any good deals on Impact Racing products, avoid it for now, unless LeMons doesn't require SFI certification.

Brakes / Re: Brakes

Changing the brake balance with pads gets real tricky on the track.  It's not so hard at an autox where temps only need to come up a little bit to be effective.  The problem we may run into is the pads heating up at different rates and different pads having different efficacy over a given temperature range.  It could be real tough to get the desired results.

What we need is a proportioning valve. :)

Given that this is an enduro, I wonder if sticking with the 87+ front brakes might be a better idea since they will dissipate heat better.  I cooked some Carbotech SSF pads with my SC at Buttonwillow after 7-8 laps.
