Here is Bryan racing his Supercharged MR2 around Button Willow (short track) back in 2005

QuoteIn-car footage from a track day in June 2005. Starts off with my best lap, followed by some comments from the peanut gallery, and a short run at the track in reverse direction.

Looks like your best lap was a 1:36.9

Ahhh, memories.  I sucked! :)

That's the Streets Of Willow racetrack at Willow Springs Raceway.  Not Buttonwillow Raceway.  And not to be confused with Thunderhill which is located in Willows, CA.  Oi...

Here's some crummy old Buttonwillow footage from the MR2 SC.  Seeing these videos again makes me realize what a jalopy it was at the time.  Steering off center, strange shift action...

Note this is Buttonwillow in the reverse direction.

Quote2:15 flat at Buttonwillow CCW configuration #13. A calm, smooth lap early in the day. Surely could have gone faster if the car lasted more than a few laps.

QuoteApril 2005 event at Golden Gate Fields. Car is not prepared for drifting, I just stuck junkyard tires on the back and went for it. Car is a 145hp supercharged '87 MR2, basically stock with Eibach springs and Koni struts.

MAN, NICE JOB DRIFTING! Wow, I didn't know you did this! What tires were you running?

Remember the mismatched junkyard tires on BMW bottlecap wheels that came on the black SC donor car? :)  It was funny. One tire was larger than the others!

Some pictures of the AW11 sideways: http://www.mophos.net/gallery/album26?page=2

It was so hard on tires though, I went through 2 sets of rears in one day even with only 145hp, and kindof gave up on the sport after that.  Too expensive.

And man, I sucked in those trackday videos.  I think you don't realize how much you've improved as a driver until you look back several years at where you used to be.
