WOW!! An Austrailian MR2! Looks like the toilets aren't the only things backwards down under.

What the hell is that crap?? So Toyota made a counter clockwise 4A??? :o

The head would have to be different since the intake and exhaust manifolds have different bolt patterns

Also the starter, if it's still on the exhaust side, would require a new transaxle
