Title: Chee's new 1986 Turbo Mitsubishi Starion
Post by: BigMike on December 06, 2010, 03:36:23 PM
Chee had to replace his MR2 with a 4-seater. This is what he got

Turbo 1986 Mitsubishi Starion (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_Starion). Has a FMIC (front mount intercooler).

Someone put a MK2 MR2 side vent in the quarter panel.  So there's still an MR2 connection. ;)

I've always liked the StarQuests.

2JZTE is known for the rediculous power output potential!! Really no need to change the turbo as the stocker is good for 700 hp!

Ran mid 14's with a single downdraft 2 barrel carb 22R with a 20R head, 262 in 256out cam, 10-1 comp, big valves and mild portwork. Imagine what it could be like with the Starion package!
